Statement
My work explores the dialogue and affect of the social body as it responds to western metaphysics. I investigate the propensity or drive of our current state as a springboard to develop better systems of well-being. My work manifests itself in digital environments, 3d modeling, photography, video, near field communication and performance. Through the writings of Francois Laruelle, Jacques Lacan, Francois Jullien and Gregory Ulmer, I have implemented pedagogic, interactive installations which posed NASCAR culture as caretakers of the Floridian aquifer. I am currently developing interactive digital and laser-cut work which analyze and in turn replicate illusions of power and control fostered by oracle bone diviners and kings of the Shang-dynasty.
